We did it, we got married! Thank you so much to everyone for your well-wishes.




Welcome to Lisa and Mike's wedding website! Lisa started this website in order to keep everyone updated on the wedding plans (and to have one place to organize it all for her own sake). Meanwhile, Mike makes a confused and pained face and refuses to touch it. It seems to be the natural order of things.

Our wedding date was June 13, 2008. We met on a Friday the thirteenth (February 13, 2004) and got engaged on a Friday the thirteenth (April 13, 2007). Naturally we wanted to be married on a Friday the thirteenth since they've worked out so well for us in the past. Neither of us particularly likes weddings, with the speeches and dancing and frou-frou, so we decided to skip the stuff we don't like.

We'll have a casual reception when we return to Canada to show pictures and celebrate with our friends and family, and hopefully everyone can join us then. Keep your calendars open for June 21, 2008!
