Lisa was born in a big city in BC in 1978, and raised in a small town. In 2000 she graduated with a Diploma in Digital Art and Design from TRU in Kamloops, and was offered a job right at graduation. In 2002, while living in Kelowna, she went back to school part-time to finish her AA degree. Then in 2004, she made the big move away from her beloved BC to Alberta. Lisa's brother Victor, father Vic, and Grandmother Kirsten still live in BC. Lisa works as a graphic designer, putting catalogues together and making cards for your dentist to send to you when it's time to have your teeth cleaned. In her spare time she likes to be a band geek and play with My Little Ponies.

Mike was born in BC in 1973, but his family moved to Alberta when he was eight years old. A while after graduating high school in 1991, he went to Mount Royal for journalism and discovered that the using of the computer and making things pretty was more fun than the actual writing part. He's worked as a graphic artist ever since, although preserving his penchant for precisely penned prose. Mike's parents Les and Kate, and sister Mandi live in Calgary, and his grandparents live in Medicine Hat. In his spare time he likes to play with LEGO, draw pictures of gargoyles on his MacBook, and be enormous.
